Name: Vimp aka Vimpokta. Description: The Vimpokta, or Vimp for short are gigantic docile creatures that roam the lowlands of Zecyrion, mostly across the tree lines of the Deepwood with other herd like creatures and predators such as the Lamarru and Rabona respectively, where they feed from the luscious foliage that makes up the canopy. Other than their appearance there isn't much that makes them unique and they are quite boring and uneventful creatures. Behavior: Slow moving and docile they act almost identical to common cattle, roaming in herds of around 50, except they eat from the canopy and not from the ground. The young however are not tall enough to reach the canopy and thus their parents will have to pull branches or foliage down to feed their young that know better than to venture near the trees for a feed. Although docile creatures, if something approaches the vimp or touches its long and slender legs there is the small chance that it could unleash a devastating stomp that could easily kill a humanoid. Preferring to feed at night, Vimp will head directly into the middle of the lowlands an hour before sunrise where they can see any approaching predators for miles, all huddling together to sleep until it is time to feed once more. Tamability: Cannot be tamed. Too docile and all they want to do is eat all day, every day. Where is it found?: The lowlands of Zecyrion, anywhere across the tree-lines. Rarity: Uncommon. Diet/Method of gaining energy: Herbivore. Products?: Meat & leather. Reproduction: Sexual reproduction. Pregnancy takes 3 months. Size: Up to 60 feet in height, roughly the same size as a 7 story building. Weight: 5 ton max. Lifespan: 200 years. Abilities: None. Flaws: Docile. Younglings are helpless, targeted by Rabona more than any other creature. Slow moving. Tall and slender legs leave them almost incapable of running.
