It explodes in a big splash of the same acid found in the Shin'kali Type-D Mutation, coating everything around it in the corrosive substance. Abilities: Explodes in a splash of Shin'kali Acid that corrodes metal and burns away flesh. Contains .7 L. Can be grown to explode on impact or have a timed effect after triggered. Can be grown using only Shin'kali biomass, in dedicated biomass stalks that grow it or even within a Shin'kali's body. Can grow bigger with more time; .1 L per extra day. Will not explode past 3. Conditional limitations: N/A How does it work: The Shin'kali Acid Grenade is a relatively simple biochemical weapon grown by the Shin'kali; when grown, it slowly builds the membrane and fills it with the acid, as well as simple carbon dioxide gas that pressurizes the grenade to allow it to explode; the grenades can be grown to have a sensitive membrane, causing it to rupture from impact and explode, or to be triggered with a timed switch by pulling a top stalk of the grenade off to trigger fast-acting enzymes that produce more carbon dioxide, which causes the gas buildup to detonate the grenade after a certain time.
