Name: Shin'kali Type-D Mutation Description: The Shin'kali Type-D Mutation is a unique mutation a Shin'kali may take on to allow it to spit out an extremely corrosive acid that corrodes material with the drawback of having a more vulnerable central organ. The acid is green in color and bubbles from the sheer corrosive ability of it. Abilities: Can be spat onto materials at a range of up to 8 meters, to wear it down using the corrosive power; for porous materials such as fibers, the acid seeps in and destroys it from the inside, while on metallic armors it begins to corrode each layer until it can seep into its own webbing it creates. Eventually, depending on the armor, the armor can easily be shattered with a simple melee attack. Limitations: Uses a large amount of biomass to produce the dense stomach lining that allows the acid to be safely stored within. Expands the central organ to store the acid, expanding the bone guard and weakening the central organ. Cutting into the central organ causes the acid to spill everywhere; this may act as an ability in some circumstances, though it will corrode the outside of the Shin'kali. Conditional limitations (optional): Shin'kali do not have inherent protection outside of their internal lining; if it gets on their skin, it will corrode it just like any other flesh. How does it work: Quite simply, the Shin'kali uses its biomass to turn its central organ into one that produces acid in a high-pressure sac that stores it; the acids are a mixture of corrosive hydroflouric acid and Shin'kali enzymes that eat at flesh and metal, causing flesh to corrode to liquid goop and metal to oxidize to weaken its interior. The Shin'kali can then spit this out of their mouth; however, typically only Shin'kali Infestors and Drones will have this mutation due to the weaknesses that it comes with.
