History Makoto Seikara was born on a jungle planet in the fringes which was independently colonized by Hylotl, but held a native tribal Floran population. The two groups were almost eternally at odds with each other, and violent conflict followed by short periods of peace were frequent. After leading a largely normal life and graduating high school, Makoto was conscripted during a time of conflict on his home planet and trained as a melee specialist. His experiences during this period of his life, as well as the generational conflict of his planet, made him abhor violence the older he grew. The conflict was cut short after only two years, as a rival power in the Fringe capitalized on the constant war weariness of the planet and quickly took over. What followed was a period of disarmament, social strife, and becoming further reconnected with the galaxy at large. Seikara took the opportunity to ferry out of his home system as soon as he could, using what he knew to sell recorded follow-along sessions of yoga and martial arts while taking on a full time clerk job to avoid poverty. After he scraped up enough pixels for a ship of his own many years later, he began his own dojo aboard that same ship and started teaching independently. Family Parents: Deceased via age.
