Name: Wraithwood Tree. Description: A massive frond that appears to be made of transparent material, similar to ice. This helps it blend in with the cold environments it inhabits. as it is found almost nowhere but La'megoth and Boreas. They can reach Redwood sizes. Many times they are found with mummified corpses dangling off their branches. Large veins being visible within their translucent appearance. Behavior: They remain relatively peaceful and calm when well fed. But when hungered or angry, it will use its delicate roots to find the area of the nearest being and try to impale them on it's spike-like branches. Afterwards it would drain the being of its fluids. Many a time these creatures seem to be impossible to feed and go on endless feedings, never returning to a peaceful state. However, if a sudden burst of light is shown to it, it will immediately attack the creature doing it, in a hope to take the light for itself. As most La'megothian plants do. Tamability: It is not unheard of for the highest level of Vampyric druids to be able to keep these plants fed and use them as guardians of a kind. But this is uncommon by all but the Vampyric druids. However once tamed, as long as it is fed well enough, it will always protect it's feeder. Where is it found?: It can be found anywhere the Vampyric FEV is present. But it is most common in the dense forests and caves of La'megoth and randomly around Boreas, as they can only survive in frost-filled environments. Rarity: It is uncommon in Vampyric forests and colder parts of the Undercrypt. Almost everywhere else it is near impossible to find. Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: It feeds, like most plants, off of both sunlight and fluids. However, due to the rarity of natural light on La'megoth, it has evolved to thirst for any fluid it can get. Leading to it drinking the juices of organics. However this does not stop it from attacking synthetics. Products?: Due to it's odd appearance, it is often sought out for jewelry or statute materials. Reproduction: A more normal plantlike reproduction. Growing relatively far apart as to not make them too common. Size: If allowed, it grows to sizes comparable to redwood trees. Weight: Again, comparable to redwood trees. Lifespan: Depending on how much fluid it gets across its life, it has a similar lifespan to an average tree. Abilities: Delicate roots can figure out where a being is. The heavier it is, the more noticeable. Sharp branches can impale organics and glitch shells. And drain them of fluids. It's unique, ice-like appearance hides it well in the environments it can be found. Flaws: Almost completely immobile. Very easy to distract using things like corpses or meat. (However, using non-organic objects will make it very easy to realize it's being tricked. As there are no juices.) Like most La'megothian plant life, very weak to heat. Other: It can transmute the Vampyric FEV in the very rare occurrence you try to eat it. Consent must be given for such an event to fold out.
