The fishing village of Nightingale is situated in the Casimir Archipelago, and is one of the Republic of Marzanna's more remote settlements. The people there are hardy and tough, often making do without many of the basic necessities that most Fringe inhabitants might expect, a fact that they take a great amount of pride in. Unlike most mainland settlements, they lack a dedicated Gendermarie presence, as crime is rather infrequent among the tightly knit community. This isn't to say that the people of Nightingale are push-overs, however, as many unfortunate criminals would attest, were they still capable of breathing.

Visitors have a number of places to visit, whether that's Grzegorz's Bait and Tackle, the Casimir Lighthouse, the Chapel, Pasha's Fish Market, Nightingale Tavern, a Seafood Restaurant, or the beaches near Piorun Pier.

Casimir Lighthouse is situated on the Easternmost Portion of the village, and though it's regularly maintained, few people in the village recall seeing the lighthouse keeper more than once or twice a year.

Grzegorz's Bait and Tackle is the place to stop for all your fishing or crabbing needs, and is situated conveniently close to the village's teleporter. Grzegorz has owned the shop since the village's founding, and is always happy to provide advice on matters of his trade.

Pasha's Fish Market, the Chapel, and the Restaurant are located close to one another in the Western portion of the village, which serves more or less as the heart of the community. Pasha himself is an eager merchant that takes pride in the freshness of the catch he sells, whilst the town's quiet Priest cares for the village's spiritual well being.

Nightingale Tavern is the local landmark for which the town is named, situated in the depths of a derelict cargo ship that ran aground some years ago. Since that time it's been structurally shored up and converted into the village's favorite watering hole and de facto town hall. It is operated by a woman named Justyna, who takes an odd degree of satisfaction at watching people struggle to pronounce her lengthy last name.

Beyond the Tavern, resting at the far end of the island, is Piorun Pier. At any given time there are a half dozen fishing boats out on the water beyond the horizon, but one can always expect to find at least one of them at the pier stocking up on supplies and provisions. The beach near the pier is a popular sun bathing destination for tourists, and the drop off beyond the pier is often favored by anglers of all stripes.

There are two bungalows available for purchase in the village, each costing 75,000 Pixels, and visitors are free to examine and explore them if they so desire. ((DM me on Discord at TheBoss#9590 if you're interested in buying one to turn into a player home or the like.))
