Name: - Razor Fin Shark - Squalus novacula Description: A giant 30-40 foot tall fin is usually seen protruding from sand dunes when these things are near. The fin has a very visible sharp end, almost like how a knife has, and has a hole in the fin near the top left area. Color comes in dark blues, beiges, browns, yellows. It is rare for one to surface with its whole body but its long head can be seen popping up out of the sand to eat the remains of prey. They rush straight towards prey at high speeds and try to use their incredibly sharp fin to cut straight through creatures to kill them. They are not very social towards others of their species but groups of 3 can be seen going through the sand together to send a series of continuous attacks at the prey. Tamability: They don't seem to be able to be tamed in any way. Where is it found?: Anywhere with copious amounts of sand. Rarity: Depends on how large a desert is. The larger a desert, the more Razor Fins. Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: Carnivore. Products?: A really strong fin, some say it can be made into a really hardy soup. Like soup with a rock in it. Reproduction: Like a shark. Sexual. Size: Very large, 36 feet long and 22 feet tall. Weight: 10 Tons Lifespan: 40 years Abilities: Sharp enough fin that (with enough speed built up) can cut right through a metal ship in a fine clean cut. Extremely fast and aerodynamic. Flaws: Need to build up speed a good bit before trying to cut through things with its fins. If you damage a fin via a strong enough explosive then the Razor Fin will go under the sand and retreat to safety. If you hit it directly in the snout with a really hard hit, it will be stunned for a good bit. They cannot go through hard dense rock, only a good bit of sand. Other: - |>o *rararar*
