Name: Powder Cats, High Explosive Grenyade, Boom Cats Description: Powder Cats have a variety of forms, but all are different variants of feline- from house cats to mountain lion esc beasts. They all have long black fur which black specks drift off of onto anything they touch. Behavior: Like the behaviors of the form of cat they take on, except when threatened they explode. Tamability: Incredibly tameable, due to early genetic modification before the nuking of Schelor. Usually it involves a large amount of meat. Cultists of Nex Alea are typically the ones who do this. Typically, they 'bond' to a single person if they're fed enough and not injured. Though many Deadbeats have died from being poor caregivers. Where is it found?: Schelor. Everywhere. They're a menace. Rarity: Common. Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: They're obligate carnivores, and will eat any kind of meat without getting sick. Bones too. Tainted meat won't bother them either. Products?: Their fur shedding is actually just a gunpowder equivalent. It can be used in firearms and explosives. Reproduction: Sexual. Though they typically have large litters, usually at least five regardless of size. Size: Varied. View a real cat's. Weight: Varied. View a real cat's. Lifespan: Varied. View a real cat's. Except when inevitably an in-grown hair causes them to explode. Abilities: Powder Cats can cause themselves to explode like a large HE grenade without injuring themselves in any way due to incredible bone and skin thickness and durability- the explosion is also directed away from themselves. This is done by igniting their fur- which is made of something akin to organic gunpowder. Their fur then rapidly regrows over the course of a day or two. They also share Deadbeat's resistance to radiation. Flaws: If a Powder Cat has at least one in-grown hair when they explode, it kills them as their protection isn't present behind their outer layer and it would liquefy their organs. If a Powder Cat is shaved, they are unable to explode until they've regrown their gunpowder hair. Effectively neutralizing them.
