Name: Nanirin, Extrariusloquitur falsumpulchritudo Description: Specimen is a tree-like plant that has a dark blue stem sprouting into thinner stims that have large and thick leaves that seem to grow to turn against the wind to catch gusts of hydrogen, which it will absorb along with peroxide from rain or the ground. It seems to be one the few plants that are not sulfuric, instead producing water in its stem that is toxic to most of the methanotrophic life on the planet, but tasting delicious to any oxygen-breathing species. Native species seem to avoid it as they would a poisonous plant. Behavior: Tree Tamability: Tree Where is it found?: On Meridia, on many of its islands and floating islands above its huge ocean of hydrogen peroxide. Rarity: Common tree Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: It absorbs peroxide and hydrogen from the air. Products?: Water Reproduction: It produces small fruit at the base of its vertical leaves; the fruit is poisonous to most native species as it contains water, but seems to be incredibly delicious to oxygen-breathing species. This fruit comes off the stem and rolls away to spread the plant. Size: Most are 4m tall Weight: Tree Lifespan: Tree-like lifespan Abilities: Produces water Flaws: Tree, incompatible with more typical biochemistries.
