    Description:

Specimen seems to be a rare type of tree that contains a large “fish tank”. It is found near bodies of water and seems to be a cluster of thick stems holding up a large, colorful spherical membrane filled with hydrogen peroxide and a variety of symbiotic native ocean lifeforms. It seems to support a small “fish tank” self-contained ecosystem of wildlife that produces metabolic byproducts the tree absorbs. Specimen seems to be rare, with very old specimens having even larger spheres. It roots into wet soil, absorbing peroxide and the eggs and seeds of ocean wildlife through its thick roots. Spherical membrane emits a faint blue-green glow from bacteria inside.

Behavior: Seems to support a self-contained micro ecosystem.

    Tamability: Plant

Where is it found?: It is found on Meridia, on the various islands and floating islands on its peroxide ocean. Found near bodies of peroxide such as lakes, streams, or ponds.

    Rarity: Rare

Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: It absorbs peroxide from the environment and gathers nutrients from the byproducts of its spherical membrane ecosystem.

Products?: The sphere membrane has an abundance of small flora and fauna inside it; sulfur salts pepper the surface of the membrane. With a lot of care, the entire membrane can be extracted from the tree, though this will kill it from the lack of nutrients.

Reproduction: Specimen will slowly grow a seed over a period of ten years, protected by the cluster of stems.

Size: Around 4-15 meters tall, with spheres being from 0.5 to 3 meters in diameter.

    Weight: Heavy

    Lifespan: Very long

    Abilities: Contains a self-contained ecosystem

Flaws: The ecosystem in its sphere is very delicately balanced; disrupting it could damage it severely, and in turn, the tree.
