    Name: Glitch Necromancy, reanimationDescription:

[/b]     [/b]Glitch Necromancy is the act of "flash repairing" dead Glitch processors, rapidly repairing even broken processors into an animalistic state of reanimation. Glitch Necromancy done most often "on the spot" involves a very manipulative electromagnetic field that, over the course of around ten seconds, can charge electric current through a dead processor while manipulating the metallic circuitry into a state of semi-repair that results in not full sapience, but rather the basic intelligence needed for a killing machine (very simply neurological systems). Even if a processor was cut in half and burned, the electromagnetic field could salvage what intact transistors the Glitch had and force the code to adapt to the body, causing the Glitch to rise and follow their master's input with animal simplicity. These Glitch often have bodies in disrepair and with broken voice modules, causing them to make simple beeps or even screeches of misery as they use their old weapons to combat whatever enemy of their master there is. Sometimes, a powerful "necromancer" may instead choose to utilize a large and powerful device to project a weaker electromagnetic field that serves the same purpose but affects a wider area, trading the time spent animated in order to animate the Glitch corpses in even an entire area.

    Abilities:

    [*]
    - Reanimating dead Glitch by flash repairing their processors. Can also reanimate androids, as long as they have a similar computer processor; hiveminded nanobats and the like cannot be reanimated with this.

    [*]
    - Can be built to serve multiple purposes, whether it be animation on the spot (10 seconds) or even throughout a large area (several days). Larger areas obviously take larger machines, and much larger areas need multiple devices.

    [*]
    - Reanimated Glitch can be programmed to follow basic input such as their master's voice or via binary signals.

    [*]
    - Can last for around a month, and can reset by doing the procedure again.

    Limitations:

    - Can only animate dead Glitch in at least a semirepairable form; glitch with completely immobile bodies can have their processors reanimated, but unable to do anything if they cannot move their bodies. Can only reanimate salvageable processors; if they are completely irreparably damaged such as through incineration via plasma fire, it cannot be brought back.

    - Can only follow basic input, and cannot follow complex commands that involve any higher thinking than that of a programmable animal.

    - A well-hidden secret Necromancy is, and highly despized by nearly all good Glitch. It is seen as heresy and treachery by even freeminded Glitch, a punishment after death to be forced to kill others.

    - If the AI is too corrupt, a new mainframe must be installed.

    How does it work:

The specialized electromagnetic fields, as stated in the description, sacrifice strength for maneuverability, allowing tiny parts of the processors to be detected via fluctuations in the field and tweaked to shift parts to where they need to be in a form of extremely primitive repair, charging the processor finally to form a basis of animalistic "intelligence."Flavor text:

Glitch Necromancy or reanimation has existed for a long time, first emerging in Glitch hiveminds from the works of freeminded necromancer archmages, using their tools of taboo power for their own gain and ambition. Today Glitch necromancy, wherever it is found, is kept dark secrets for few to learn, often within the dark depths of the Undercrypt. One of the few sources on detailed Glitch Necromancy was recently burned by the ICIF, gathered from the archives of the Miskatonic University, leaving the knowledge to be passed by actual necromancers or lost tomes. The most recent use of mass reanimation was seen at the ruins of Roma, where the dead soldiers of the Magnum Imperium seemed to have risen to zombies.
