The true intentions of the Frozen Guard have never been properly presented nor stated- for all that it’s worth, they are a pack of adventurers, simply looking for easy objectives and tasks to perform for quick coin and a place to rest. Perhaps there is much more to their presence here, at this time, but that is unknown to all from beyond the walls of their floating fortress. A pack of misfits, beings with no objective nor cause to go forth- the Frozen Guard has been established as early as 3213 by Duke Holden, a few months after they left their homeworld. Ever since the day it started, it has offered proper household to many living and dead alike; the rejected, the abandoned, and those who seemingly have lost all hope for their life and future. The broken, the poor and the crippled alike have found respite in the cold embrace of their ice-bound brethren and companions, the lost souls shepherded by the Duke himself. Some of them travelled for as long as five decades along the side of their silent leader, loyally serving at his side and following his lead, while others have been present for mere months. A massive chunk of ice is eternally present at the side of the ship, the reason why it gained its nickname.
