Name: Cultivator’s Sight Description: Cultivator’s Sight is a metapharmaceutical flux-bearing drug that appears as a viscous fuschia fluid that emits a small amount of light. It is a high molarity solution of a water solvent along with starsugar and mana selenide and other various additives. Cultivator’s Sight is able to contain a small amount of cuil flux that it uses to deliver its effects. It is injected intravitreally via a syringe. Abilities: When injected intravitreally (into the eye), Cultivator’s Sight grants cuilsight to its user, allowing them to perceive cuil flux. This effect lasts for two hours. Limitations: While active, induces sensory overload whenever the user perceives cuil flux. The severity depends on the amount of cuil flux perceived; that of one psion only causes minor effects. If the user is a psion, this limitation does not occur as they are already awakened to perceiving anomaly. The cuilsight is granted to only the eye that the drug was injected into. For an hour after the effect ends, the affected eye’s vision becomes desaturated and blurry. You gotta stab a thin needle into your eye. How does it work: Mana selenide acts as an anomalous photoreactive compound similar to octarine, but able to bind to ocular nerves, and becomes a metapharmaceutical in solution with starsugar. The flux present in the drug facilitates cuilsight, perceiving cuil flux and sending appropriate nerve signals to the brain. While active, the user’s eye is aware to anomaly and perceiving cuil flux puts their sense of sight into overdrive, potentially causing sensory overload. Upon creation, the drug can absorb cuil flux when exposed to it, either from a psion or another source. Flavor text: Cultivator’s Sight is fairly difficult to create, requiring complex reagents and processes. Currently, doses of the drug can be found in Ancient medical facilities or made by masters who have somehow come across precursor blueprints for its creation.
