    Name: Crags

Description: Crags can be considered spider-like in appearance, with multiple sets of long and sharp legs extending from their shriveled thorax. At their front, they have a pair what seems to be hands with long fingers. They possess a pair of insect wings, though they are much too small to allow the crags flight. On the very back of their thorax is a spinneret, where the crags produce a tough, sticky web. Their outer body is made up of a weak, seemingly shriveled exoskeleton. They have small mandibles and from 30-40 red eyes. Above their eyes is a large opening, which the crag can wildly spew instantly igniting gas from, usually as a form of last resort self-defense.

Behavior: Crags tend to live in large bunches within their nests, often located in dark, rarely explored caves. They are extremely territorial, and will not hesitate to attack anything that enters what they consider theirs.

Tamability: Crags are not tamable, and will fight to their demise.

Where is it found?: Crags are found in the deepest parts of cave systems and often nest near magma pools.

Rarity: The deeper you get into a cave system and the more possible it will be to encounter a nest of Crags, even more so if there is a nearby source of magma, where they are most comfortable.

Diet: Crags are carnivorous, and will devour any who are unlucky enough to be snagged in their webs.

Products?: Their webs can be harvested for whatever uses one may find.

Reproduction: Female crags lay eggs in large bunches, which are then fertilized by the males. After around six months, the eggs will hatch. Only a fraction of those born will survive to adulthood.

Size: They are around three feet in height, and four feet in width.

    Weight:
A fully grown male will weigh around 30lbs.

Lifespan: Crags live an average of five years.

    Abilities:
[*] Crags can spew flammable gas which immediately ignites upon exit from a hole above their many eyes.

[*] Their several eyes give them wide vision.

[*] They often walks along their webs that are very spread out thickly webbed throughout their territory, which will alert them if anyone or anything moves one. Due to this, they have amazing awareness, so long as they are traversing a web.

[*] They can be somewhat smart, and can spark a slight flame on their webs. They use this to set traps when they can sense a more formidable foe approaching.

    Flaws:
[*] Crags have a wide range of view, though their vision is actually very poor.

[*] As mentioned, their fire is a form of last resort self-defense. This is due to the fact that crags are very sluggish beings, and have little control over the flames that are produced. When under great danger, they will release all their pent up flammable gas to ignite a large flame. This will often lead the crags to igniting themselves, leading them to die by their own defense. If in their hives, they have the chance of lighting their various webs ablaze as well, which can burn an entire nest to ash.

Other: Ugly fuckers with weird grabby hands. Icky icky!
