The [PRK] also received a personal visit from the Emperor, establishing normalized relations, a trade baseline, and foreign aid for the new neighbor. Duke Hamlin of the [Tethian Fiefdom] released a statement of ‘solidarity and loyalty to the Empire’, swearing to continue to reach and exceed quotas. Meetings from Salacian sister cities of [Lagrange] and [Skrad] saw a similar sustainment of the status quo. The [Kubiyashi] Family in Lagrange an increase in local government authority to establish local administrative positions, and the [Greater Skrad Concordat] saw a declared intention to increase departmental presence in the swampy city. The full impact of these decisions is yet to be seen, but local polling has seen a small spike in Imperial popularity. [Hadrian] saw no changes at all, but a meeting has been scheduled for the near future – the Emperor will be among the many to take the newly established Hadrian Line to the once-isolated city. The newly established PRK’s first election results were released shortly before the Imperial visit normalized these new relations. The [Altesian People’s Front in Knife’s Edge], or APFK, won nearly two-thirds of their electoral seats, giving them full control of the democratic state. The PRK has been recognized as an independent state, along with several trade and logistics negotiations. The first aid package to the peninsula has already arrived – and those with family in the region are able to travel to and from once more. In foreign news, the nearby [Republic of Marzanna] microstate’s President met with the Emperor, establishing both a non-aggression pact and a basic trade agreement. The RoM publicly expressed concerns about the PRK, but seem to have been set at ease after meeting with the Emperor.
