With nanomachine technology, it is now possible to actually turn water into wine just as so many people wanted to do but could not. Utilizing special charged nanomachines dispensed in water, chemical processes turn the water and surrounding (or sometimes supplied) nitrogen and carbon dioxide into ethanol, and if wishing to be turned into wine, also into Methyl anthranilate, a grape flavoring dissolved in the water-ethanol solution to make it taste like wine. Abilities: At basis, can turn water into ethanol which can be used as fuel or as a substituent of alcohol. Steps can be added to synthesize Methyl anthranilate as well, to create true wine (though artificial). Water-ethanol conversion ratio: 3:1 Water-MA conversion ratio: 8:1 Therefor, one liter of water will be turned into approximately half a liter of wine, as ethanol and MA would make up a small portion of the wine, the rest being water. If converting water straight into ethanol, the resulting volume of ethanol would be 1/3 that of the water converted. Limitations: Nanomachines must be charged before each use, and a typical 'dose' of about 50g of them will turn up to four liters of water into 2 liters of wine. Wine tastes fairly cheap - flavor can be enhanced by adding external chemicals to the mixture.
