Name: "Voodoos" Description: Voodoos are a common species of phase-matter organisms found in Hyperspace, their appearances being small wispy organisms of different colors, very faint to the visible eye and almost invisible. Voodoos are called what they are because they have the ability to use their phase matter bodies to inhabit a physical object and animate it, most typically a small doll of some sorts. The most mass they can truly animate is 30 pounds, however multiple Voodoos can actually inhabit one object to increase weight capacity; as thus, they serve best as little chaotic minions inhabiting dolls and other light objects. Voodoos can actually be 'summoned' or brought from Hyperspace by capturing them or opening a Hypergate; typically this is done by connecting a newly opened Hypergate to a previously known one where Voodoos are common, and luring them and tempting them with offers; sometimes this can be material things such as silver or gemstones, sometimes individual motives such as a potential for greatness and glory. Offering them this will often lead to them following your orders without much question, though that does not mean they won't cause a bit of chaos while doing so. They will take these riches to a 'Voodoomaster' who leads a large group of Voodoos, the Voodoomaster sometimes being a rarely more powerful Voodoo or sometimes even another Hyperspace being such as even a Firstborn, gathering the support of the Voodoos with promises of wealth or community. Voodoos are capable of speech, if they know the language; they are not very intelligent, perhaps on par with Swamplings, but can still coordinate with each other and have feelings. For the most part, they make good minions. Behavior: Voodoos tend to be chaotic beings when not bound by compensation; they will typically possess some movable object and cause as much chaos as possible, tossing stuff around, tinkering with devices and pushing random buttons. When compensated, they will follow their master's command typically though maybe with a few 'detours'. They are good for simple and menial tasks such as fetching items or delivering things, pushing, pulling, and other things, even including synchronized dancing and whatnot. However, one Voodoo can only do one given command at a time due to their low intelligence and chaotic nature, they can only focus on one thing or else they could succumb to total chaos and disregard everything. This prompts them and their owners to get them to work in groups to do many different tasks at once with team work. Tamability: They like things such as money that they can bring to their Voodoomaster. Where is it found?: Hyperspace, in many many places; usually they are grouped together. Rarity: Fairly common. Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: While many Phase Matter organisms gain energy via electricity or radiation, Voodoos actually have a need to inhabit objects so that they can gather its kinetic energy via moving and friction. Products?: Phase Matter Reproduction: They naturally spawn in clumps of phase matter in Hyperspace, usually in groups of them.[/b] [/b]Phase Matter will come together in these groups and naturally spawn their bodies and intelligence. Size: They appear as a faint, wispy orb and trail of phase matter, typically of any color. Weight: Nearly weightless except when they inhabit an object. Lifespan: Their body will cohere together for roughly 20 years, before they dissipate into neutral phase matter. Abilities: Can fly and are pretty fast when not inhabiting objects. Can move into and out of objects fairly quickly. Flaws: Can only inhabit 30 pounds. Made of Phase Matter Can only do one given command at a time. Other: Be careful when dabbling into voodoo affairs.
