The fall of the unholy, esoteric Miskatonic University was pivotal moment in clearing the Fringe of its darker, more vile corners. The ruins of the University, which still stand from the original inferno that consumed it, were routinely examined by personnel of the Caliphate, as usual, when they came across what seems to be a passage-way which leads deeper, far deeper than initially expected, under the ruins. Though the site remained closed to the vast majority of the public, remaining as a grim monument to the darker past of the Fringe, it has been temporarily opened. The previous excursion into the depths has not returned, and so the Ministry of Heavenly Affairs, which has assumed the leading position of this project, has decided to open a second expedition to the public, both to find the first party, and to possibly discover what else is down there. It is to be warned that the University, when first combed over, was full of occult practices, ranging from self mutilation to living sacrifices to ancient deities. Those who fear for and value their soul should be aware that sinister forces could be lurking down in the deep, and that those who consider themselves spiritual may not wish to partake in this. Instructions will be given to those who fill out the application below, including the coordinates of the planet the ruins is on. Further procedures will be discussed once the party arrives at the base camp. You may bring your own equipment, though it will be inspected. If you do not have equipment, it can be provided.
