//A post is made on a popular Fringe-based news station, quickly being cross linked to other websites on the Nexus// Engineers and IT specialists were baffled today as the Trans-Fringe Teleporation Network, commonly known as the TelNet, was struck with unprecedented outages following what was assumed to be some form of injection attack at around 03:27AM UCT, 3/4/3285. Although the specialists across the Fringe who coordinate to manage the network were able to eventually fix the issue later that day in the afternoon, it created massive pitfalls in public transportation systems that rely upon the networks' use, costing businesses across the Fringe around 540,000PX in lost labor opportunities during the height of the problems. Those who accessed the network during this time either found themselves unable to access their teleporters, or were found with only a few strange locations rife with errors and undecipherable text. Those few brave, or perhaps unlucky enough, to beam to these locations reported finding a strange expanse of grasslands circled with a mountain range in the middle of which sat a strange teleporter and a lone bar, and an odd subterranean crypt of sorts. Unified scientists and researchers from the ICIF, Purgatorian Confederation, and the Atlas Empire have released public statements that they will be looking into these strange locations, trying to better understand what has so mysteriously made its way onto our public teleportation network. Engineers for the network say that although the bulk of issues have been solved for the majority of people, these recently added locations are proving impossible to remove as of yet. Updates will be posted here over time as this story is followed.
