Syed al-Quiche Artwork by Lynn Artwork by Hare General Information Syed al-Quiche Ibn Dhakir al-Emir Mumanin ya-Waarith was born on July 11th, 3257, to Caliph Dhakir al-Quiche and Umaira al-Quiche. Raised from his birth to be the future ruler of all Islam, Syed has known no boundaries for most of his life. Becoming crowned the Caliph of the Ummah at the age of 20 after his father passed, he assumed the mantle of absolute leadership in the prime of his youth. The Caliphate, under his leadership, has went from an isolated faith tucked away from galactic affairs, to one of the reigning powers in the Fringe, due mostly to his aggressive style of leadership, and the willingness to innovate and expand his own influence. In his eyes, all that is belongs to Allah, and he is the greatest servant of the Almighty. Physical Appearance Syed is a Shin'kali, though they are known by the galaxy as Shifters. Though he can assume any form he wishes, and occasionally changes himself fully to deceive his enemies, he prefers to remain in his previous, human form, albeit with some changes. Syed is physically flawless in his appearance, not a single mark, scar, or asymmetrical feature. His brownish skin is smooth, yet has the rubbery texture that all false Shin'kali flesh retains. The uncanny beauty he has is also punctuated by his extremely deep blue eyes, another feature which he created himself. His hair is short and black, and carries a childish curl on the front, at his forehead, often covered by his headgear. His clothing consists of black keffiyehs with silver igal ropes around his forehead, accompanied by a modified, black thawb that extends from his shoulders down to his feet. His robes has multiple pockets and pouches, allowing him to hide nearly all of the gear he does carry. A scimitar with a hilt of gold is always sheathed to his side, and his footwear is a pair of black boots, modified to muffle most of the sounds his steps make. Personality Personality Type: ENTJ Political Ideology: Theological Monarchist Syed is both prideful of himself and his faith, holding it in a very high esteem. A spoiled monarch, he cannot tolerate dissent or disrespect directed to him in nearly all cases, often threatening others for the slightest provocation. He abstains from haram activities, like drinking alcohol or consuming pork, though he is impartial to harming others if they go against him or his wishes. Though he can appear cold and cruel to those who don't know him personally, he strongly cares for both his people, his friends, and most importantly, his wife and children. He frequently goes out of his way to ensure they are all protected, and believes that those who help him should be helped in turn. He is fond of giving gifts to those who serve his will, and that is often the easiest and best way to gain his trust and respect. He cannot stand anyone else with an ego, especially if they put their ego above him and his faith. In his eyes, only he deserves to be at the top, it is his birthright.
