    Name of Aug/Tech: Skulljack

Description: A virtual hacking utility accomplished by one or more small computers, usually implanted into the fingers.

History of Aug/Tech: A project developed by dark Glitch mages in order to produce the effect of "mind interference magic", many different branches of the mages worked on programming different functions for the tech. Some were more focused on incapacitating the victim, while others focused more on the control aspect of the "magic". After a few years, they were able to come together to present their technology. Distributed amongst themselves, they became some of the most well feared dark mages in their land.

Their power became feared, however, as Glitch armies were sent to destroy them. Most were killed, and the remaining few went into hiding. One of them, becoming more accustomed to modern society, decided to sell his patent on the skulljacking program. He made quite the fortune, and was able to improve the program with his newfound funds.

How does it work?: The program is an advanced, short range hacking procedure, that targets the central processing units for various reasons. It's equipped with various executables, including:

-A kill code that uploads a virus that targets the CPU, frying it. Once that is done, it moves to the memory bank, wiping it clean and leaving the target as an empty husk.

-A corrupt code that targets the memory bank, altering the contents and applying a new directive, turning the target into a mindless killing machine.

-A sensory overload code that targets the pain receptors, activating them all at the same time and causing immense suffering in the target, making them feel like they're on fire.

-A power-down code that targets the shut down directive, rendering the target unconscious.

However, due to it being extremely short range, it requires direct contact to wherever these systems are located. Also, the hacking procedure is not perfect, so it can be defended by a good-enough firewall or other form of virtual security.

Intended use: To provide a close-range attack against synthetics without the use of a physical weapon.

    Strengths:

-Has many different uses, including non-lethal, lethal, intimidation and conversion.

    -Is not hard to implant.

-Does not require extensive knowledge in hacking to use.

-More implanted computers can result in faster and more efficient hacking.

-Can be implanted into either organic or synthetic races.

-Very strong against Glitch, androids, and other low-tier synths.

-Some processes, such as the power-down and sensory overload codes, do not take much time to complete, and are easier to successfully complete. (1 turn for pain, 2 turns for incap)

    Weaknesses:

-Requires contact with wherever the central processing parts (i.e. processor, memory bank, etc.) are.

    -Can be countered.

    -Weak to Aegisalt.

    -Weak to EMPs

-If the hand/fingers are severed, the computers will cease to work.

-Depending on how good the security is, it can take some time to complete an executable.

    -Cannot be implanted into Novakids.

-Other codes, such as the kill and corrupt code, take longer to do, due to them being more invasive, and are harder to successfully complete. (4 turns for each)

How do you believe this will assist in benefiting roleplay?: In a world where guns are everywhere, this could offer people who wish to remain or appear unarmed to have an edge over synthetics, as well as bringing back HackRP
