    Name: Shimmerberry Bush

Description: Shimmerberry bushes are large, colorful plants that can grow practically anywhere with very little effort from outside forces. They’re well known for their delicious- and dangerous berries.

    Behavior:
It kind of just sits there and waits for things to eat its berries!

Tamability: It’s a bush, so if you get its seeds and plant them you can reasonably grow one.

Where is it found?: As it’s an invasive species, it can be found in most places- extreme cold and extreme heat don’t matter much to it, only water, air, and decent soil.

Rarity: it’s fairly common! You could reasonably find one in the wilderness of a colonized planet, or in a city park.

Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: Standard plant stuff here!

Products?: The only real product of value produced by the bush is- shocking I know- Shimmerberries! These are rather unique, pale and sparkly perries the size of a marble that have a citrus taste. When consumed, these berries provide a feeling of euphoria so intense that it overloads the brain and sends the person into euphoric shock- if not given proper treatment within the next hour, give or take, the consumer will suffer brain failure. However, it isn’t difficult for a skilled botanist, brewer, or chef to lower the concentration of the euphoria-inducing juices so it can be used in various foods and wines. If consumed that way, it will provide a lesser feeling of euphoria and after an hour a strong feeling of emotional exhaustion. The exact amount of berries needed to be consumed for the euphoric shock depends on size! 2-4 feet tall requires one to two berries. Five feet to seven feet require five to seven berries. Eight or higher requires... eight or more berries!

Reproduction: Standard plant stuff here! Just through seeds in the berries, if a consumer dies then they burst out of the corpse!

Size: Decently large! When fully grown they’re around the size of a car.

Weight: A fully grown bush is probably around ten pounds.

Lifespan: Give or take twenty years, if someone or something doesn’t destroy it first.

Abilities: It’s incredibly invasive, being able to survive in any environment with decent soil, water, and sunlight.

    Flaws:
    It’s a bush.

    Other: The bargain is fulfilled.

    Pending! I have some questions!

    1. How many berries does one need to consume to suffer the harmful effects? Just one berry seems a little too lethal for my liking.
    2. You say the berries are a 'defense mechanism', but in most fruit-bearing plants, the fruit is supposed to be a method of propagation.- Carrying seeds within and all of that. Do these bushes sprout out of the corpses of their former victims?
    3. How intense is the exhaustion following consumption of Safe!Shimmerjuice?

It depends on the size of the person! Three to five would be enough for Humans ranging from five foot two to six foot four. It can be assumed that the number increases or decreases on species size. A Naian or Igrian would take around two. While a Ravir or Nysian would take six or seven.

Sorry, that was my mistake! They would yes in the case that they were eaten! That or sent out with excrement from the consumer should they not eat enough berries to die.

It's best related to that feeling of intense emotional exhaustion after a long day in a social environment which you don't enjoy- it's not physical, purely mental, though it's pretty bad- it's not crippling. A quick nap and you'll find yourself feeling better easily.

One last question. What does the berry actually taste like?
