Name: Scribographer, Scribing Projector Description: A Scribographer is a device used to quickly burn a symbol or logo into a surface by using a special lens with filters and a high-power laser flash, along with any other lens modifications to change the inscription's appearance. Such a module could be placed on drones or handheld tools to quickly laser flash symbols onto surfaces such as wood, concrete, glass, or even skin and more. Abilities: Quickly flashes high-powered beams to draw a symbol or logo onto a surface, taking usually less than 10 seconds. Fairly compact, appearing as a dome-shaped lens fitted with underlying filters and micromodules. Limitations: Requires the projector to be stable to draw. Requires hookup to an external power source such as the battery of a drone. Flavor text: The Scribographer was invented originally as a tool in the Haven Federation and various other factions to easily draw signs and other informative pieces onto walls so no holographic pieces or printed signs had to be used; in the Corrav District before its destruction, it has been used frequently by the larger gangs of the district to draw their symbols to mark territory, much like graffiti. Another version was invented by the Xadari species for use with their bizarre writing and mathematics system, able to etch their complex sigils and writings onto walls or other surfaces. How it works: The Scribographer works by flashing a high-power laser beam through a dome-shaped lens through various filters, burning the ground with scorching hot beams. During this, electromagnetic fields can pull at the mark to give it a glass-like appearance if there is a high silicone content.
