Name: Scintilla Gas, Eternabrite Description: An opaque, gray-white gas, when struck by light it immediately glows in a bright, yellow-white fashion. A large collection of Scintilla Gas, note how its high reflection level has led to the surrounding area appearing much lighter as a result, even in the middle of interplanetary space. Abilities: Reflects nearly all light (99.945%) that hits it due to its peculiar molecular structure and the nanostructures that it forms on the gas particles. Its high reflection makes it an amazing lingering flash. If put in an area where enough light hits it, it can glow so brightly that it makes it nearly impossible to look at, making it very useful for flash-bangs and for stage magic. Can be mixed with other solvents and used as a coating on mirrors and even some angled armors & surfaces meant to defend against photonic weaponry. Limitations: Can be a bit hard to remove due to its inert nature and its density. Can cause asphyxiation due to its inert nature. How does it work: The molecular structure of the gas particles causes most light that hits it to reflect, barely absorbing any of it, this means that when hit by even small amounts of light, it can light up quite vividly. Flavor text: First synthesized by the Apex as a means of civilian dispersal, its molecular structure has been found naturally both terrestrially and in large cloud collections in the middle of space since then, making it a popular tool in stage magic, replacing reactive flash powders to some extent.
