Name: Reclaimer Vines Description: Rather normal looking vines, if not for the presence of rose-like thorns all over them. They are pale, whitish blue in color, the thorns being ice-like and transparent. Normally growing up from inside quicksand, or down from some sort of ledge overhead. Behavior: These plants grow from above, down until they touch the floor. Or they grow up from under the ground, normally under quicksand. Once they are touched by a being, they will wrap around the beings neck or feet. Further wrapping around any other items that touch the creature. Carrying any sort of hot or light giving item would double your problems, as they'd immediately start to attack you, the item giving away your presence. Once they are wrapped around the being, they will drag the being to the origin of the vine, all the while to kill it. Once the being is dead, they will begin to suck out all the juices from them. Tamability: Not once have these vines ever been tamed so that they do not attack. However it is common practice for vampyrs to place these around areas they wish to protect, and cut them out off the way if they need entrance. Where is it found?: Similar to most La'megothian plant life, anywhere the vampyric FEV is present. Normally within dense forests or small caves where it can easily blend in or is needed to be touched. Rarity: Common around La'megothian caves and forests. Similar in colder areas of the Undercrypt. Rare everywhere else. Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: It feeds, like most plants, off of both sunlight and fluids. However, due to the rarity of natural light on La'megoth, it has evolved to thirst for any fluid it can get. Leading to it drinking the juices of organics. However this does not stop it from attacking synthetics. Products?: These creatures give nothing in terms of usable products. Besides the plant itself. Reproduction: A more normal plantlike reproduction. Growing in thick groups for maximum pulling strength. Size: Comparable to most normal vines. Though they never stop growing downwards. Weight: Comparable to normal vines. Lifespan: Comparable to most normal vines. Abilities: Can wrap around beings. Their spikes are durable enough to break through flesh and glitch shells. Strong enough to move most characters under 250 lbs Flaws: Very noticeable. Rather weak if cut down before it notices you. Extremely weak to heat. Other: Similar to most Vampyric plants, If you want to eat it or if you manage to get it's fluids inside your blood, you'll vampyrism.
