History of Aug/Tech: Developed by H & K General's attempt to make a leg augment, which ended up like a puppet's gangly legs. This is why it is called the Puppet. How does it work?: The Augmentation goes between most joints. Inside the plates are strong, heavy magnets, which stick the ball and the plates together. The plates also include connectors between the two, which allows for the replaced joint to become somewhat like a normal joint, allowing walking, and whatever else that joint was used for. Along with the joint, there's a wireless pressure pad somewhere on the users body, that allows the user to 'unlock' the joints. Once unlocked, they will allow for full 90 degree movement on the limb they're being used on. This can accomplish many things, such as greater force of kicks, hugely improved maneuverability, arms turned into slings, and so on. When one wants to relock the joints, all they have to do is press the pad. Of course, the wireless button and the magnets require power, which may be attached to a Glitches main power system, or a implanted battery. The process of augmenting a organic with this is extremely risky, but robotics and other things, like augmented legs, are easier and lots less risky to do. Also, when the knees are unlocked, depending on how much the character weighs (125 max, damaged if over 95 pounds.) it can pop the user up with the magnetic system. If the area where implemented is not sufficiently protected, the magnetic sphere can pop out. The augment can also limit movement speed, and due to the lack of area to attach it, Novakid cannot have it. Intended Use?: To provide more maneuverability, and to allow a simple, cost-effective joint replacement. Strengths: -90 Degree bending of legs. -Popup for people under 125 pounds. -Cost-Effective. -Unlocking of arms/legs. -Easy to install in robots/androids/Aug-limbs, if completely robotic. -Unlocking of limbs. -Epic limbo skills. Weaknesses: -Magnetic sphere can pop out. -Limits movement speed. -People over 125 pounds cannot pop up, and even then unless they are under 95 pounds, the Aug can be damaged. -Can be broken easily if not protected correctly. -Extremely risky on Organics, especially florans because of lack of bone to attach to. -Battery must be charged every two days. -Enemies can use the pressure pad. -Locking of limbs can get jammed if not properly maintained. -Limbs will go limp if battery runs out.
