NIPLET Description: A small four legged creature with long ears, a tail and differing white & black fur, the Niplet can deliver a nasty bite, also capable of flight and is the only type of creature of its type on world. Mostly treated as either pests or pets, there are no shortage of these creatures in the city itself, with flocks of them bombarding the streets outside fast food stores to get a free feed. Although the Niplets are a nuisance, it is still illegal to shoot them as they are protected under the Zecyrian Environmental Act. Obsessed with shiny objects, the Niplets will usually line the inside of its burrow with such items and in turn, warms its young from the elements and snow. Niplets are semi intelligent creatures, great to keep as pets and capable of delivering messages much like a pigeon. Behaviour: Timid. Will flee from anything larger than itself. Tamability: Can be tamed from birth and even trained to sit, roll over and be toilet trained. Where is it found?: Native to Zecyria. Can be found anywhere on world in small burrows, within the city and in the canopy of the Deepwood. Rarity: Very Common. Diet: Shrubs, moss, plant matter. Products?: Fur & meat. Reproduction: Sexual. A mother will give birth to up to eight Niplets. Size: Around 60cms from head to tail. Weight: 1-5 kilograms. Lifespan: 1 – 15 years. Abilities: Flight. Very good sense of hearing. Has a nasty bite due to a powerful jaw. Can contract its rib-cage to squeeze into tight locations. Flaws: Poor sense of smell. Constantly hit by hover-cars. Obsessed with shiny objects.
