[font=Georgia, serif] [/font] [font=Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif] The Anoloa Peace and Diplomacy Committee (APDC) is proud to announce the colonization of their first Fringe-space colony in the name of the two theocratic sister states of Heon. The APDC has worked to bring the race relations between the Leoi and Viven to a state of peace since their founding in 3263. Their twenty year anniversary marked a groundbreaking legislature to be pasted, allowing the APDC to found a colony to foster an environment of learning and understanding between the races of the Anoloa. Since then, they have been colonizing the planet they have dubbed "New Kioni†and the planets of the system around it.[/font] [font=Georgia, serif] [/font] [font=Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif] New Kioni is a lush ocean planet with sprawling above water forests. The planet was named for its blue-green water, similar to that of the inland sea, Kioni, on Heon. Scientists aboard the colonizing mission have located a central Life Tree system, leading them to believe that at one point, the planet was a normal land covered planet, but some natural event caused a massive flood, leading to all but the very tops of mountains exposed. Prior to this event, the resilience of the Life Tree lead to the other trees on the planet to grow to a massive size, with root systems that hoist these trees over the water. Due to this strange adaptation, engineers were capable of building into on on the trees and burrow into the mountains, much like many villages do on Heon. Some who have ventured under the sparkling blue-green water have reported seeing ruins of the past civilization to inhabit the planet.[/font] [font=Georgia, serif] [/font] As the colonization and building comes to a foreseeable end, the APDC is considering opening borders. This would allow the APDC to expand the Anoloas' research of the Fringe. The only previous excursions into the Fringe made by the Anoloa were part of Exploration Pihapiha, a program that allowed those who wished to leave home to explore the Fringe a chance to do so while giving those on Heon an idea of the climate there. Due to this growing interest in the outside world, New Kioni will allow immigration, as well as the ability to purchase land or establish a business.
