    General Information

    Name: Welson
    Model: N-1411 Recon-Type
    Age: 50 (Birth Year 3285)
    Reputation:
    Hivemind Glitch - Positive
[Fairly high, but obscure knowledge. Hivemind believed him dead in 3247.]
    Enlightened Glitch
[Terrible, known as a spy and scout for the Hivemind.]

    Physical Appearance

He stands at 5'8. His frame is lighter than the typical Glitch, favoring agility over force. His metal is a dull silver and atop his head sits a forest green skullcap which protects his inner workings up there. His eyes are twin lamps of bright green, flickering to and fro with interest. He seems to hold a posture which suggests he has disregard for circumstance.

    Personality

    Personality Type: INTJ

Political Ideology: Currently Neutral in All Regards

N-1411 is a new creature, having shed away his prior identity as a religiously driven hunter of the Enlightened. As of this very moment in 3285, his motivation is to get from his disabled ship to a safe spot and learn what life is. His political beliefs, religious outlook, and motivations will form depending on who and -how- he interacts with others. He is not the type to ask questions and expect answers that mean truth, but the type to observe and learn by what he sees.

    Backstory

N-1411 (Welson) was designed and brought to existence in 3235. He is the production of an industrial assembly Glitch (Weldon) and a Glitch who had been tasked with blueprinting (Arteson). Welson was tasked with the repeating duties of keeping information flowing at a steady pace to the collective. He was purposed for reconnaissance; an advanced security system. With heavy specialization in this sole purpose, his natural combat capabilities were hindered by retreat priority being very high. Though potentially capable at mechanics and crafting, he had never needed to use those skills and they were never referenced within his system in youth.

In the late year of 3243, his mother had experienced freedom from the loop and attained Enlightenment. Her attempt to convince both her son and her mate that they too could be free was met with tragic failure, leading to her escape beyond the sky and into the sea of stars.

In 3247, Welson had already been part of many search and destroy missions to purge the Enlightened that fled Hivemind territory. Rather than being moved by his mother's compassion, he was instead fueled with hate stoked by his father's fury at her abandoning the will of the collective. He avoided combat when he could, but he took great satisfaction in locating and calling Heaven's Chariots to purge the wicked. "Perhaps the Enlightenment was a virus, a sickness, corruption sent forth to those who had too much cowardice and doubt," he had considered safely afar as the death squads rolled through. He was still searching for his mother, not really to kill her but to get answers and closure. The hunter hadn't known he had already killed her five years prior. Here, in the deep space beyond Hivemind territory, he had encountered an ambush and all aboard his vessel were slain. Left in a state of limbo between eternal darkness and existence as the sole survivor aboard the ruined ship, his processes slowed to survival mode as he slowly lost pieces of his mind and memory.

3260. Nobody came. There was no more data aside the core processes and basic AI constructs left. What made Welson was gone, even his name forged of the two parents he'd long since forgotten. Adrift aboard a hulk of a wreck which emitted faint beeps in protest of its current state of disrepair. With nothing left of value within his mind to keep safe, the system processes flicked. They focused on his tattered frame and began to mend his critical damage.

3272. Primary damage has been mended. Rebuilding AI constructs and logic, referencing current knowledge lacking any information about gods, history, politics, and personal motivation.

3285. In the darkness, two green lights flickered on slowly and raised to the scene. His clothing long since tattered and in disrepair, degraded through time's long harassment and long deceased vermin, hangs loosely on his form. Due to the basic classification in which his model number would be read in his core files, that one piece of identity remained. N-1411. The time spent rebuilding his processes had also allowed for him to break free of the loop and become Enlightened, by no simple means of his mother's tragic fall and desire for him too to be free.
