    -Intermediate

    -Basic computer knowledge
    Personality:
Given Thorne's childhood, it can be easy to understand why he doesn't socialize much. He wasn't brought up around other children and didn't learn those essentials before being thrust into the work force. He finds it difficult to connect to people and to let others associate with him.
The trauma he experienced with the explosion at the refinery left him scared and suffers a bit of PTSD from the event, so he'll often shy away from any topics that include himself or his past and tries his hardest to forget it.
Being out in the Fringe ensured the folks he would work with weren't always on the straight and narrow. He's a skeptic after being stabbed in the back so many times in the name of the mighty pixel.

It's not all doom and gloom however. Break past the rough exterior and you've got a dedicated ally. While he doesn't always intend on doing good, most of his dealings tend to end up on the morally right end even to fault of his own.
Phobias: Deep water, Hylotl citites. Rapid decompression, compressed gasses. Death,
    specifically his own.

Likes: Relics and keepsakes from Earth, 21st Century culture, cities, easy money.
Dislikes: "Complications". Nosy folk and well-to-dos. "Alien" food.
Extra: His Nexus display name is 'TopGun', the 21st-century film his parents named him after.

    Physical Appearance

    Physical Description:
Rugged and disheveled, what you'd expect from someone from the Fringe. Unkepmt dark hair and a goatee adorn his not-so picturesque head. While worse-for-wear, he's no slouch. A fit build across a tall frame. It's just too bad he doesn't give a damn how people see him.
His usual civilian outfit comprises of a leather pilot's jacket over an old cotton shirt and a black denim pants. Rough leather boots. Top his head he wears a set of goggles linked with his ship's computer with minor display and communications built in.

Tech and Augments used: Personal Combat armor, "Smart" goggles.
    Height: 6'1
    Race: Caucasian
    Species: Human
    Gender: Male

    Backstory and More

    On-going Story:

-Thorne is looking for a bigger payout to repair some neglected gear on his ship.
    Backstory:

Born to two colonists in charge on manning a refinery in the Fringe, Maverick Thorne didn't have the standard childhood, busy parents and constant chores kept him on his toes until he was old enough to work at the refinery. He got a respect for machinery, especially those in the lower tech end, tasked with repairing and maintaining most of the pistons and arms running the conveyor line.

An industrial accident ended up with Maverick fleeing his once home, and while he believes it was his fault, a torn fuel line igniting and taking out a section of the refinery was just negligence across most of the crew. 118 refinery workers died that day, including both of Maverick's parents.
Maverick, mostly going by his last name at this point, jumped from colony-to-colony aboard his parent's personal ship until he wound up as a member of a security detail aboard a USCM Penal Colony. After the USCM abandoned most of their projects after what happened with Earth, Thorne jumped ship there as well stealing as much USCM gear as he could to resell, only keeping a few personal effects and weapons.
Surprised with the payout of reselling abandoned equipment, Thorne took up the life of a salvager in the Fringe.
