Description: Lobintosh Experimental Multi Use Nano-bots don't particularly take just one form, though the most common form is sleeves of armor. Never the less, despite what form they take LEMUN has a sleek grey color to it, a whine red light pulses occasionally over the whole shape. Up close it would seem like grey threads of yarn, woven into it's desired shape, be it sleeves of armor or a helmet. Looking at LEMUN under a microscope would reveal millions of nano-bots, individually a LEMUN would look grey, with a small red light flashing near it's fourth leg, to make it clearer, each LEMUN has four primary legs, each leg containing a fine pointed piston, a slit down the middle of the ending of the needle would allow it to open up. The primary legs aren't used for movement as they are used to lock the nano-bots in place, the legs that actually allow movement would be under the nano-bot's 'belly', small microscopic hooks on the end of the secondary legs dig into the wearers skin to hold them down. The body of the nano-bot would look like a sphere, except for the legs that hang from under it and on it's sides.

History of Aug/Tech: Lobintosh Lobotomies firstly created LEMUN as a method of performing lobotomies, hence the needle in their legs that was later repurposed, though, it didn't work as well as they thought and ended up killing a majority of patients that under went to procedure, the few who survived were later killed to keep their mouth shut. Upon seeing the uselessness of LEMUN they were quick to want to get rid of it, but Kalentosh, Maxime Koch, told them to hold on the destruction of LEMUN, seeing the hostile behavior of the fringe goers so far from their recent broadcasts. He hatched the idea to use it as a means of protection, old LEMUN still being scrapped, but the design going into making what is now modern day LEMUN.

How does it work?: Each LEMUN has four pistons and four slots. The pistons sliding into to slot of another LUMEN and the bottom slit of the needle opens up to lock them into each other, this process continues until the LEMUNs reach their limit, a set amount of LEMUNs one person can have before it starts to harm the wearer, not actually allowing LEMUNs the reach this level by setting a lumber lock, any other LEMUNs that try to join the weave after the limit is reached with have it's pistons locked in place, left to fall off the wearer. The LEMUNs communicate through a hive mind, hence how they know to lock at a certain point of LEMUNs in the proximity, implants in several parts of the brain
help the user command the nano-bots, though it does have a range, only a yard away from the users body. LEMUNs are made of mostly titanium, the bottom of the LEMUN is made of plastic to lessen the cost of an overall set of LEMUNs as well as keeping it light and easy to use without being a beefed up muscle man. Around the joints the, usually bent upwards, legs would extend to make the threads of LEMUN looser and allow the wearer maneuverablility, but in consequence makes the joints a weak point in their armor.

It can also be used as a weapon, be it not a very good weapon, but a weapon none the less. Guns are a no, LEMUNs capping their limit before being able to form a full out gun that actually works. Swords are also a no as the nano-bots don't exactly make for a sharp blade, being small sphere shapes would only really allow for a blunt weapon, such as a bat.

The cap for LEMUN usually allows for two sleeves of armor, up to the arm pit, where it stops right before reaching the shoulder. Since it communicates to the user via implants in several parts of the brain, an EMP can cause the user to go temporarily brain dead, as well as loosing communication with the nano-bots which then cause them to fall to the floor like a bunch of microscopic marbles. When given enough time LEMUN will shift the damaged LEMUN in hard to reach places, such as the back of the head or under the arm, making those spots likely weak points if the LEMUNs are damaged. Since LEMUNs use microscopic hooks to hold themselves to the skin of the user, long periods of use will cause cuts to pop up on the user's skin, as well as sore spots and bruises. The plastic on the 'belly' of the nano-bots help to block electricity, it can still easily pass but it would lessen the effect.

Intended use: Originally meant to be used in lobotomies, it back fired and Lobintosh Lobotomies rebuilt it to be used as armor for their trip to the fringe.

    Strengths:

    - Can form several types of armor

    - Lessens damage from electricity

    - Can be used as a blunt weapon

    - Can block a moderate amount of firepower

    - Light weight

    Weaknesses:

    - Slightly costly to produce

Can cause scars if used often

    - Joints are weak spots

    - If enough force is applied to the head the nano-bots could lose connection and fall off

    - Can cause user to go brain dead temporarily if EMPed

    - Nano-bots fall off when EMPed

    - Can be easily copied in design

    - If nano-bots are shattered it can cause damage to the wearer

    - Plasma melts through easily

    - Slag can stick to the wearers skin if nano-bots are melted

    - Doesn't work on Novakids or Glitch, due to their lack of brain

How do you believe this will assist in benefiting roleplay?: A new form of armor that allows for more maneuverability instead of plain brute force.

    Attainability:
    Open
