Name: Koleyn mitium, street name Domesticated Big Leaf, or Caspan Description: A small, leafy plant. The leaves have many small veins running through them, filled with a slightly yellowish substance that become purple upon maturation. when dried, the leaves are brown, and the juices have baked into the leaves to give it a slightly weird shade. How does it work: The leaves of the plant contain a substance that is a rather effective hallucinogen, though much weaker than its more wild variety. The chemicals inside of this liquid substance contain chemicals that affect the dopamine channels of the brain, causing them to discharge in more erratic, and powerful bursts. This causes a sense of euphoria and relaxation, and eventually slight visual and auditory hallucinations if a strong enough "brand" of the plant is used. Abilities: -Can relax a person who is often a victim of nervous breakdowns or other forms of intense anxiety -I guess if you like getting high, this is pretty good at doing that for you. During Shep Caspan's relationship and later marriage with Koleyna, he was introduced to the drug, and took several batches of seeds for his further experimentation, resulting in the further domestication of a less potent version, Koleyn mitium, specialized for commercialization.
