Alright. I like playing video games, and playing with cats (hence the username). I am familiar with roleplay in general, but have not tried it out on Starbound (this is my first shot). What difficulty settings should I have on my character, and any mods I need to have installed (I play on steam)? I have already passed the test on the previous website, and if that's outdated, please let me know. I'm still in school, but summer break has given me a lot of free time.
Oh yeah, set it to casual, and download aurora's mod. EDIT: the mod isn't necessary, but it adds to the experience.
I've joined... I cannot chop trees down, for some strange reason... immortal trees confirmed. EDIT: I also can destroy plant/crops, but not flowers? My starting pet is also almost invisible, with just a blip here and there. Is this intended or something? Stuff like pixels also fall from the sky sometimes.
ah. I'm in a completely empty world, with no way off of the planet. I'll go mining for core fragments then, and go through the intro missions.
Please do not go doing those things, it lags the server, but you can beam back onto your ship by pressing: You may then go to the teleporter and click E, and find: Click on Haven, as that is where most roleplay is.
