Name: - Hell Hounds Description: Robotic dogs of metal and fire. Behavior: - Hell Hounds have similar behavior to organic canines, like traveling in packs and using teamwork to hunt. They are usually hostile to other creatures, sentient or not, but there are some exceptions. Tamability: - Hell Hounds can be tamed with the right know-how. They are programmed by their creator to register certain figures as allies, and will not attack them. Others have the expertise to train and command them, leading packs of Hell Hounds into combat. Even if you are not in these databanks, you can still tame them if you prove yourself to their pack. Where is it found?: - They are found in places where the Conclave has opened Chaos Portals, as well as the Tartarus region of the Undercrypt. Rarity: - They are common through Tartarus and corrupted worlds of Kharnarath, but are rare anywhere else. Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: - Due to their robotic nature, they don't need to consume organic matter to sustain themselves (but that does not mean they won't). Instead they create energy through heat from a thermo-electric battery within their chassis. They often drink liquid magma to keep this battery heated, and stay in warm places to continue powering it. Products?: - N/A Reproduction: - They do not reproduce, they are built. Size: - They can be built to heights of three to five feet, and are six to eight feet in length. Weight: - Hell Hounds are constructed from steel, so refer to the Engineered Lifeform page for weight. Lifespan: - They'll live as long as they aren't killed and have a source of heat. Abilities: - They are impervious to most forms of heat, move quickly, and have high strength. Flaws: - If in a cold environment, Hell Hounds' thermo-electric batteries will run out of power, and they will shut down. They can be "revived" by introducing high heat again, however. They are also susceptible to EMP's.
