Today, the Haven Federation breathed a massive, collective sigh of relief, when the Ruin Flagship in Silentia was finally destroyed after a jump into the Haven System, almost spelling doom for all of us. Grand Protector Leda Portia offered an explanation of everything that has happened through a video:

The video showed Leda Portia, Grand Protector of the Haven Federation, stood proudly in front of a gold and white backdrop.

“Thank you, people of the Federation, for your admirable patience in these times. I would have spoken much sooner if I could, but I did not want to bring risk to our heroes and our Operation. A day ago, I began a joint operation with our military and federal guard, Atlas soldiers, and the Visitant Administration called ‘Operation Forlorn Hope’. The operation involved a preemptive strike on the Ruin Flagship that had taken Silentia from us not too long ago.

“The operation included the following individuals: Captain Nelox, Captain Capsaici, Thalass Cissa, CIRCLEEYE, EBS-7, Eliza of Atlas, and several other Visitant and Atlas droids. The operation began when a fleet of interceptor drones loaded with ARCHANGEL instances escorted the boarding craft to the flagship, which breached through a hole previously made by Atlas using the Tartarus’ spine-mounted particle gun. They breached the flagship and fought tooth and nail to carry a thermonuclear explosive to the center of the ship, where its reactor was housed. During the operation, the Flagship suddenly made a jump into the Haven system, which scrambled all tachyonic communication systems. They delivered the bomb successfully, but.. I’m afraid Ruin organisms were swarming the reactor room. Three individuals stayed behind to defend the bomb so that the others could escape. These individuals - these heroes, were CIRCLEEYE, EBS-7, and Eliza. CIRCLEEYE’s proxy was destroyed, but I am afraid EBS-7 and Eliza sacrificed themselves for the success of the operation.”

There was a brief silence.

“Because of the sacrifice of these heroes, Operation Forlorn Hope was a success. The Ruin Flagship was destroyed, and the Haven Grand Navy, along with Atlas forces, cleaned up the rest of the Silentia fleet. Because of their sacrifice, we will finally, at last, be able to reclaim the Silent Bastion from Ruin control, and our Haven will not meet its end at the hand of the Ruin.

“In commemoration of this day, this Founding Day, this victory, and the sacrifices of our heroes, I hereby rename Founding Day to Triumph Day. Our Federation stands in darkness.

Our next effort will be the full reclamation of the Silent Bastion from the Ruin still present inside of it."
