The Haven TimesIn a piece of breaking news, earlier today, two Atlas model androids were found vandalizing the sacred Haven Tree in the Capital District. Initially discovered via camera feeds, they quickly merited the response of the guard for such a flagrant act of vandalism and desecration of a sacred monument. It appeared as though they were attempting to use a laser etch machine to deeply cut Atlas's emblem into the face of the tree. Although many commit petty crime in the form of etching things such as symbols of their love or the Haven Triangle, such an act is completely unprecedented, and a true mark against Haven's culture. Civilians at the scene reported that the guard present attempted to stop the bots verbally, before one in the duo threatened the guard with self-destruction. Following this threat, the guard fired several shots at the bot. As soon as the shots were fired, an EMP was released from the two, resulting in them immediately deactivating. As of yet, neither the Haven Senate or the Atlas Empire have released any official statements as to why this occurred, or any information they may have collected from the bodies of the androids, which were believed to be non-sentient, and possibly remotely controlled.
