Description: The Giacomo Complex is a hand-replacement, with the skeleton made of common steel, intricate computer parts made of sillicate and wiring sheathed in copper, all housed within a sleek aluminum shell that is compartamentalized and gridded out to allow efficient shifting, It is fairly heavy, compared to a regular hand, with limitations on the wrist. If held palm down, the wrist would have trouble moving 'up' due to the parts sheathe that is affixed to the forearm like a metal bracer. The aluminum shell comes as a default white, but can be painted to the user's desires, whether that be 'hot rod' style or a mimicry of a human hand.

History of Aug/Tech: The Giacomo complex is an innovation of Austin Jerils, codenamed 'Angel'. A man acclaiming the future of mankind is through self augmentary and improving the body with mechanical pieces over time, he founded the corporation 'Digi-Tech', a company that offers a variety of products from false modifications to full on surgical implants and physically altering modifications. The two different divisions, Market and Medical, work in sync to innovate cheap but effective products that have a certain time-frame before parts must be repaired and re-ordered from the company. The Giacomo Complex is one of the newer innovations, the first attempt at a multi-purpose body augment that would entice individuals to risk the surgery required. However, it is also compatible with some models of prosthetic, dependent on how it is created.

How does it work?: The Complex is basically an inventor's toolkit, packed within a hand-shape and arm bracer. The hand's aluminum shell is compartmentalized and gridded out so it may open, adjust, morph the shape of the 'tool' and then close around to solidify the form. For example, Janet has her Giacomo complex in the shape of a hand, and needs to tear something. Adjusting the shape and morph, she is able to produce a miniature scissors to snip, then she can shift the morph back into a hand in order to tear. The hand itself can store a few parts, usually the more often used ones, while the arm sheathe (optional) can store an additional amount. To interchange parts, the palm must be opened up, part taken out and input into a specific slot, A, B, or C for example. The hand will be connected to the nerves, so if the user specifically thinks A, the hand will morph to A. This is why it will only work with certain prothestic - if the prosthetic is one not attached to the nerves and is simply a limb replacement made of plastic, the Complex will not work on that limb.

Intended use: It is made to be a swiss-army knife equivalent in a hand.

Strengths: The hand's use is entirely customizable, for an engineer it could be used for minute tweaking or sautering, or a tailor's best friend for sewing. It can also store illegal substances, small devices, or weapons.

Weaknesses: The user must sacrifice a hand for the surgery, or have already lost a hand. Rehab. It is also a delicate piece of equipment, meaning an EMP could damage it heavily. Parts that are for specialized use (IE potential weapons) must be bought separately from the company.

How do you believe this will assist in benefiting roleplay?: With the day and age of androids being apparently everywhere, humans are unfortunately very far behind in similar capacities. It would also add an interesting aspect of RP to those who do get it. Adjusting to an awkwardly heavy hand, or phantom limb experiences.
