Name: Frygydds, North Wind Incarnate, Glaciem serpentis Description: Appears as a gust of wind with frost and ice trapped within it, slightly blue tinted. Pieces of ice can join together and form bits of skeletal structures on occasion, the ripples of phase matter that make up their form can be slightly visible in the snow they trap in their form. Behavior: Frygyyds will traverse the cold regions of wherever they find themselves, in, seeking out food. When they discover something suitable for ingestion, they begin to whip by the chosen prey like fierce winds, using countless shards of ice to slash away bits of flesh as their immensely cold body induces hypothermia in the prey. When their target dies, they will slowly carry away their new meal to a cold den within a cave, feasting on them over the course of several days to weeks. Following this, they leave their den with their slightly bloated form, seeking out new food as they become hungry. Tamability: Untamable, a wild creature that lives by its own rules and its desire for sustenance. Where is it found?: Mostly found within the icy mountains of Boreas, but they have been smuggled out and let loose on icy planets in the past. Rarity: Fairly rare as they prefer solitude with wide expanses of land falling under the territory of a single Frygyyd. Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: Carnivorous by habit, but will devour anything they can shred apart. Products?: Wisps of icy phase matter, snow clumps, and peculiar ice formations that make up a skeletal shape. Reproduction: Asexual. as a Frygyyd consumes, they naturally form an infant Frygyyd within their body, releasing it once it has developed enough. Frygyyd are born with all the instincts they need to survive, and grow to maturity within a year. Size: Ranges based on sustenance available, but usually falls within a length of .5 meters to 5 meters. Weight: 5 grams to 4 kilograms, weigh slightly more after a large feeding. Lifespan: Can live for over 100 years with enough food, usually a domineering predator for their territory. Clashes between Frygyyds that encroach on territory can easily cut this lifespan short, however. Abilities: -Can move as fast as the winds around them, usually in their home environment this is anywhere from 20 to 50mph, but can become up to 75mph to 100 in severe storms. -Using countless fractals of ice and small rocks trapped in their form, Frygyyd can rend flesh from their prey as they swipe by ruthlessly, coiling and furling around a target to cause as much damage as possible. -Can easily induce hypothermia in those that are around them Flaws: -Fire and other thermal weaponry is their worst nightmare, their body begins to melt away and the composition of their phase matter begins to fall to pieces with heat, quickly leading to their demise. Plasma can kill them in one or two well placed shots. -Can be blown away by particularly powerful gusts of wind if caught off guard, though this only serves as a deterrent -Unable to damage armored opponents very well, though the drop in temperature they cause can gum up joints in armor by freezing oils and grease and locking up moving parts. Other: As with most Beasts originating from the Undercrypt, please try to take in mind possible difficulties in the extraction of said lifeforms from the Undercrypt when attempting to use a Frygyyd in RP that may occur outside of the Undercrypt.
