Fringe Worlds Format & Guidelines

= Fringe Worlds =​

This forum allows you to submit lore about settlements, planets, and the solar systems they're in. It's intended for locations that are lived on, regularly visited, or otherwise see a lot of RP without existing onserver as a hub.
If you're making an ingame hub world, submit your lore to this forum instead.

=Guidelines=​

1. One forum thread per solar system. Start every thread with a filled out solar system template.
2. Every time you want to add lore about something in that solar system, fill out a planet or location template and post it in the thread.
3. Thread additions do not have to be made by the thread owner, as long as the thread owner gives permission.
4. Lore posted in the Fringe Worlds forums does NOT need to be graded by a staff member. Staff will only intervene if the lore proposed is rule-breaking or significantly flawed in some way.
5. Habitable worlds are rare and planets have plenty of room. If you want your character to have a private home on a habitable world, it is encouraged (but not mandatory) to consider living on a planet already submitted to these forums before making your own world.

= Rules =​

• Planets that serve as a home to any player character must be submitted on these forums if not submitted in a hub or species codex already.
• Colonized/inhabited planets that appear regularly onscreen but do not qualify for a faction or hub codex must be submitted on these forums.
• In all other cases, submitting lore here is completely optional but encouraged.
• Don't create a planet to give easy free resources to your character, ex. a planet loaded with gold and precursor technology that only your character has access to.
• All lore submitted to these forums is assumed to be public knowledge unless otherwise specified.

General Location Template (Used for any notable location on a planet's surface, such as a town or geographical feature):
