Name: Combination Rings Description: A set of four rings, all made to be worn on the pointer fingers of the wearers. These rings appear to be golden rings, with emerald inlay. Abilities: When two individuals wear these rings on their pointer fingers, and do a specific choreography which ends in them touching pointer fingers together, they may temporarily turn into one person, with the combined experiences and skills of both. For instance, if two people who are greatly skilled at fighting were to combine, the resulting individual would have all the combat skills of both, a real force to be reckoned with. Alternatively, if a doctor and an engineer were to combine, the resulting individual would be skilled at working with both organic and synthetic individuals. Conditional Abilities (Optional): To ensure that both of the individuals who combined are not lost forever, combination will end once 30 minutes have passed, or the rings are removed from the pointer fingers. Limitations: If the choreography is not followed to the letter, there will be an accident that occurs during the combination process, and the resulting individual will be missing many of the memories and skills of the two people that make them up. This will not negatively impact their memories once they de-combine. How does it work: The combination rings work by a much simpler method than one would expect. Rather than making a new individual from scratch, the rings use the biomass of the two individuals to create the new body, and stores both brains/cores inside of the cranium. Any biomass not used for combination is EtM stored inside the rings until fusion ends. Flavor text: Dr. April the second, a galaxy renowned biologist, was dying of an incurable disease, and her mother, Dr. April the First, another world renowned biologist, wanted to find a way to save her daughter. She knew that her expertise alone wouldn't be enough to find a cure, however the two of them working together may be able to find one. Her daughter was too bedridden by her disease to work towards finding a cure, so Dr. April the First invented the Combination Rings.
