Name: Bunker Glass Description: Bunker Glass appears quite simply as regular glass, able to be tinted and morphed as such - however, it has many different physical and chemical properties that make it starkly different from typical glass. Bunker Glass holds the same tensile strength as durasteel and will not shatter upon even the strongest impacts; it can take penetration much like durasteel, the glass warping and cracking accordingly. Bunker Glass also has a much higher melting point than ordinary glass and is very rigid. Abilities: Strong glass with a strength equal to durasteel. Limitations: More rigid than durasteel. When bent too much with industrial equipment, it will explosively shatter into tiny shards. How does it work: Bunker Glass is similar to ordinary silica glass, but with an added refining process similar to that of impervium manufacturing - Bunker Glass, like impervium, has bands of linked carbon that greatly increases its tensile strength while causing it to become rigid - this glass is formed by melting down silica glass at grand temperatures and mixing it a dense carbon compound while under enormous pressure achieved through modern industrial means; the glass is shaped out into a needed mold and then carved down to its desired shape. Flavor text: Manufactured by Humans long ago, Bunker Glass has found use as a replacement of durasteel where transparency is necessary, whether it be the windows of bunkers (hence the name) or even on helmets using a glass visor, or to encase brains in.
