If examined closely, there would be a small laser attached to the pole. The changeable parts of the umbrella are: the handle, making way for the hole that you blow into. The cloth that makes an umbrella waterproof; removing it makes the gun lighter and easier to use. The pole: extends twice its length, reaching 2 meters. History of Aug/Tech: Made by Unudu(Novakid) while she messed around with her umbrella. How does it work?: Umbrella that has normal functions(starbound game functions; blocks rain and lets the user fall less fast after a delay but in RP still sustain some fall damage/stun because one does not get to skydive with an umbrella parachute) Plus: Ability to shoot blow darts, and a detachable aiming laser. Novakid compatible: just like how they open a "mouth†to eat, sticking the heat-resistant end of the umbrella in their "mouth†while creating a chemical reaction at that location will shoot hot gas into the tube, like how humans blow air out of their lungs. Once umbrella cloth removed, pole extended, and handle screwed off, insert dart into hole like a normal blow gun and blow. Of course you can just unscrew the handle and use it as a 1 meter long blowgun that's a bit heavy. Intended use: Has functions of a normal umbrella. And blowing darts at things... Darts can be plain wood, injecting stuff, or whatever that can be used as a blow dart. Strengths: Umbrella is pretty light, and next to no one will notice it's been modified. O nly laser is electronic, and can be removed if needed. Dart goes 300 feet/90 meters a second, can fly up to 50 feet/15 Meters in silence. Dodge this like you'd dodge a bullet. Weaknesses: Laser running out of battery (like that will ever happen) Needs separate thing to store darts. Needs time to extend the pole. Removable handle/cloth might be lost. Without laser, aiming will be harder for those less experienced. Bounces off metal armour, might leave a small dent depending on the armour's strength. Unless your dart is coated with poison, it won't kill anything, just burying itself in the victim's flesh with the end sticking out. Unless it's buried in an important organ...
