White banners with the Atlas insignia hung on each of the many pillars of the long room, which was filled with onlookers, people wishing to see the speech or even some of Atlas' own employees. Since the last speech, the robots looked visually different to the previous generations, supporting immaculate, angular chassis and holding the newest in terms of Atlas military technology. There were too many classes of robot to be counted before the scene shifted from a pan of the audience to Lloyd himself, behind a podium and surrounded by four Atlas banners, two placed evenly apart on each side of him. Large robots holding staffs adorned in red cloth stood in between the banners, keeping watch for a threat that would not come. // ".. And so the Shifters have chosen the Fringe's fastest expanding power as a new target to attempt to bring under their fear-mongering boot, but clearly these monsters have not seen the sheet might of our armies, ladies and gentlemen of the Fringe, I declare war against this threat and say they shall be dealt with swiftly and mercilessly, stomped back to the sands of time to the rhythmic onslaught of our automated forces, I wish them luck, they will need it.." This is not a declaration against every Shifter, I know I am known to employ them and treat them normally, this is war against the supporters of those attacking us, the New Basra Pact, despite baseless rumors of dissolving, is as strong as ever." ".. I ask Haven, as a man who has seen their resolution to the Shifter threat, to stay out of this war. I assure them I have it handled. I fear that if they were to step in, they may further anger their citizens or further damage their moon, allow me to take the reigns and combat these monsters the way I know how, Atlas forces have been instructed to begin mobilizing and have already begun setting up for the next few weeks. I wish everyone remain safe, especially Haven." // Eventually, the video cuts to clips of thousands of Atlas Combat-Grade Robots marching in perfect unison, followed by gigantic mechsuits, nothing like this had been demonstrated to the public beforehand, if the viewer was smart enough, they'd likely attribute the new toys to the lack of Atlas media production for the past few months. Atlas had become a whole new beast, one only vaguely similar to the one of just months prior. Now dawns the First War of Lapetus. //
