Between the two major framework parts of the bow, there is a structure made of titanium and cerulium plastic that has a ferozium lining on the top. Abilities: The Aegisalt bow is a device that enables those interested in the sport of the hunt to add a lot of flair and power. The magnetic field that the arrow generates allows for very fast, powerful, and accurate shots. The arrows it uses are upgraded "laser arrows," or specially designed plasma-encased arrows that have plasma pellets built into the arrowhead. With the addition of the plasma pellets, hunters who miss their game with this device on the first try may be lucky enough to hit their target if the small plasma projectiles splinter off and spread in just the right way, allowing for "trick shots" to come into play with the sport of hunting. Conditional abilities (optional): There is a more portable and computerized crossbow edition of this weapon, but it is still in the works and will likely be far more expensive. Limitations: The arrowheads themselves have a tougher time piercing armor, but with the magnetic field technology allowing for faster arrows combined with the plasma shell and pellets built into the arrowhead, many types of armor have good reason to fear these arrows' after-effects. These after-effects can also cause burn wounds on the user, as well, if the user is not careful to watch out for the plasma shell. Using the bow may be difficult: it usually takes about 6 hours to get used to the function of the bow and may take up to a whole month just to master the technique. In addition, the bow will likely sell for a high price given the materials used. Conditional limitations (optional): The bow may occasionally short-circuit in extremely cold climates, but that is usually considered user error if it is left out in the snow too long. How does it work: The magnetic field built into the bow's design means that the arrow leaves the bow much more quickly and more powerfully. The arrow head has a capsule built in that sends several plasma arrow-shaped pellets flying in different directions. Flavor text: A patent developed by Moonlighter Extraordinaire Lost Reborn and sold to a Hunting Tech company in CivSpace resulted in the Aegisalt Bow being mass produced to a certain extent, although it is rather expensive to construct and make arrows for. A more portable, computerized crossbow edition is currently being worked on in the lab. Referenced Technologies (optional): A tad bit of Ceruliite technology is mixed in with this app, but since I created that app, I approve. This app also uses laser arrow technology, as suggested by PrivateNomad. I also tried to keep it up to date with our metal lore and I tried to mix in some actual magnetic field science - right hand rule and such.
