    Solar System name: Skandis Lykta
Star Type(s): A white F type star of 1.2 stellar masses.
    Location:

Reachability: Open and accessible via the public teleportation network.

    Planet name: Jotunheimen
Environment: Jotunheimen is a gas giant with a radius of approximately 67 000 kilometres. It also has a faint ring system composed primarily of dust and ice particles. Jotunheimen has a lunar system of 23 moon-sized objects. 9 of these are massive enough to take on a spherical form.
Resources: Water and trace rare minerals such as erchius can be sifted from the rings, and hydrogen and helium can be mined from the gas giants upper atmosphere.
Population size: ~500 individuals live in permanent orbital habitats directly around Jotunheimen, with an additional 1000 in temporary living quarters.
Notes: On account of it being a gas giant there is little permanent construction on or near Jotunheimen. Instead, most people living in Skandis Lykta live on Jotunheimens various moons.

Moon name: Nya Skandinavien (New Scandinavia)
Environment: New Scandinavia is the second and largest moon of Jotunheimen and is the only body in the system with a habitable, oxygen rich atmosphere and thriving biosphere. With an average surface temperature of around 5 degrees celsius (41 degrees fahrenheit), New Scandinavia is primarily alpine, with large mountain chains giving way to deep valleys. There are no major oceans on New Scandinavia. Instead, most of the moon is landlocked, with what water there is being either frozen in the poles, coming down as snow or collecting in various large lakes, rivers and fjords.
In addition, New Scandinavia is incredibly geothermally active on account of its proximity to several large moons and Jotunheimen. As such, warm hot springs, geysers, earthquakes and volcanoes are commonplace. The frequent geothermal activity exposes plenty or rare elements which come in the form of large crystals. Although the crystals themselves aren’t of great mineral value, they usually indicate dense, rich mineral veins nearby.
Resources: Plenty of transition metals and precious metals. Industrial grade diamonds and rare gemstones are commonplace.
    Population size: 22 million.
Settlements: The primary species of New Scandinavia are humans, displaced after the ruin crisis of old Earth. Since then, a large portion of novakid have immigrated onto the colony, as well as a notable bracket of viriskon. There are several large cities, such as New Oslo and New Stockholm, but also newer villages such as Timmersby.
Backstory Permissions: Semi-Open! (Basically just ask me first and we can have a dialogue about it)
Notes: The main spoken language of New Scandinavia, is a language known as Nyskandiska (New scandinavian), which is a mix of primarily old norweigan, swedish and danish, however most speak galactic common as a second language.

    Moon name: Svovel
Environment: Svovel is the innermost moon of Jotunheimen and is a volcanic hellscape due to immense tidal forces. Volcanoes expose plenty of rare minerals and metals daily, along with tidal waves of lava, and the entire topology of the moon changes every 100 years or so.
Resources: Plenty of transition metals and precious metals. Industrial grade diamonds are commonplace.
Population size: A few tens of thousands. The Viriskon have not answered when asked to share clear numbers.
Settlements: Several mining bases and energy plants as well as one small ship forge. Population consists primarily of viriskon, but also includes a few novakid and even fewer humans.
