Name: Visitors, Guests, Wisps, The Wild Hunt, etc.

Description: Visitors exist as thoughtforms- Beings made up almost purely of their own and drive to exist. Due to this, their existence is fickle, even in their home universe of Hyperspace. The forms they take on tend towards impressionistic projection, aided by loose psionics that the entire genus seems to possess.- They might project themselves using hardlight, patterns of flux, or even a shared hallucination.

Behavior: The life cycle of a Visitor is something that can only be facilitated within the depths of Hyperspace, where they wisp into existence through anomalous means. The ‘seed’ of their existence forms from the trailed-off Flux, blossoming out with little actual matter, just the will of the thing that had created it. Interestingly, a Visitor may ‘rebirth’ itself, through its own Flux generation spinning out into a new entity that is nearly identical. Most often, these wisps are left from grave accidents that have occured.
. . The exact behavior of a Visitor is widely variable. Sometimes, they are seen to borrow motives or intelligence from their creators. Sometimes they merely wander. They persist for merely as long as the laws around them will allow, and they function as interloper species- Existing in Realspace in the same way a Firstborn does.
. . If one is killed- Easily done using Normantium, or simple bullets if it has a more material form- their body ‘folds in on itself’, their existence scrubbed from the universe by correctional energy. The Visitant are known to describe this sight as ‘comforting’, while Firstborn believe it ‘morbid’ and Realspacers call it ‘painful.’- For a Realspacer, observing the death of a Visitor causes sensory stress, such as bitter taste, temporary loss of hearing, burning eyes, or numbness.
. . They have a habit of causing volatile awakenings in psions they come in contact with- On rare occasions even causing already awoken psions to experience a ‘second awakening.’- Causing a short surge in their power, at the cost of removing almost all control they normally have over their abilities.

    Tamability: Unlikely, not impossible.

Where is it found: Areas of high cuils, where they may exist. Particularly Hyperlanes around Firstborn territory.

    Rarity: Rare.

Diet/Method of gaining nutrients and energy: They persist in a self-fulfilling loop of feeding off the flux and anomaly their mere existence generates.

Products: A story, and one Hell of a headache.

Reproduction: Visitors wisp into existence anomalously, using cuil flux as a seed to bud off of.

Size: Variable, some arguably have none, some are massive.

    Weight: See above.

Lifespan: Due to their unstable life cycle, they are often scrubbed from the galaxy before they even reach a year of age. However, when not scrubbed, they are seemingly immortal.

Abilities: Psionics, variable abilities based on projected form.

Flaws: Psionics, variable abili we based on projected form. Incapable of existence in low cuil environments.

Other: Visitors feature prominently in spacer tall tales, Firstborn literature, and have had consistent study by Visitant.
