Hey, did you know if you type in /played Starbound will tell you how many hours you've played on that character? I didn't- until I was looking through the commands. So here's all my characters ordered in hours played. Though keep in mind some hours may have been lost due to having to recreate the characters due to file complications. (All dates are approximate, but are mostly based on file creation dates.) Mint (Created: July 31st 2020) - Evil money/minty freshness inspired robot. Created on a whim for Moneybags, evil money based villain for evil inc. Only lived for 50 minutes, but those were a good 50 minutes, or perhaps maybe they survived? Snipe/Snape/Barrels (Created: July 8th 2016) - This character has been remade several times and I still have no idea what to do with them. They were originally made as a part of a gang, which on their first group outing immediately got beat to shit by a random shifter for no real reason. "Give me your teeth Dave." Kaui Novisi (Created: June 22nd 2017) - No relation to Saoi. My first Naian character made with two other Naians who... never really took off. Them and one of the other Naians were guards for one day before they both got fired, Kaui only got fired by association, but later rejoined and then became a Haven senator for a time. Ankh (Created: September 20th 2016) - A joke character. Please ignore this and move on- no I'm not going to mention how they have more hours than one of my senators. This isn't even their original playerfile. WH1RL7-31RD (Created: May 9th 2019) - Wholesome avoson®️ delivery drone. Digit/Diode (Created: July 20th 2016) - Sword girlfriend, gone through quite a few changes since their first appearance long long ago. ??? (Created: June 3rd 2017) - My nothing character, they exist for when I want to get on server as a DM; nontraditional sprites, like a snake or a Viriskon; or something even weirder than that. Saoi (Created: July 14th 2020) - No relation to Kaui. Smallest mech piloting Naian. I'm honestly surprised how many hours they have, that's probably mostly from me building their ship. Polyima (Created: March 10th 2017) - Irresponsible GILF. Who in their right mind voted for her to be a senator? Mother to Rose, widowed by Lange, and not really sure if she's really in a relationship anymore. Would likely have more hours if this were her first playerfile. Loura (Created: January 14th 2017) - Big Cyborg Floran Lady. Has gone through several different accents. Has survived through the most events out of any of my characters. Chalk (Created: January 10th 2017) - He's Chalk. The Floran artist. Geez I just realized my two most played characters are both Florans. That's not even counting my first character, who was also a Floran. No wonder I tack on too many sss's sometimes when playing other characters. Welp. That's just about everyone. Oh boy, here we go. Bit of a list for me. Same deal, listed in order of hours played. Sapphire Avalice - Newly made character a few months back, still figuring what to do with her. Goldhardt - A knight character that didn't have much playtime, despite having decent spritework. Credit to exe for the armor set. Fenyang 'Crush' Varga - Not as recent as Sapphire, but recently got a rework to his character. Travels the Fringe with his beloved vistrean night lynx (death cat), Moon. Moon, The Night Lynx - This character file specifically was/is used for Lua-animated characters and sprites. Originally it was used for a Fennix that would be seen sometimes in random hubs. Sometimes it was a raven, sometimes it was a dastardly goose. Rose Avalice - My second-most played character, and the second-to-last line in the Avalice lineage. Daughter of Polyima and Lange. Lange Avalice - The man, the myth, the Scourge of the Fringe himself. Despite computer crashes and player-file transfers (especially counting the pre-beta update to Starbound which erased all character files, if that wasn't the case this would be 1,000 hours easily), he's persisted around these days as a builder character. IC'ly, he's been dead a while now.
I have a lot of character files (a lot a lot), so I'll only be doing the ones I thought were interesting. They're all ranked least to most hours. Spoiler Eyewing Starkicker, my first GC character. I probably have a billion hours on her before the last character wipe update, but I had basically stopped playing her by that time. So, it's only 18. Not even a full day... I barely think about her anymore, so I guess it makes sense. Posi (and Min, who had similar hours). Similar to Eyewing, I used to play them more before the wipe update but I've since lost interest. Cantor. one of my visitant. God, I love Cantor, but I can't be fucked to actually RP as them. I spent such a long time making their ingame sprite.. they're fully animated and everything. It's such a shame. Idril, my obsecrian! She's the first character in this list that I've sat onserver for hours playing. And for good reason, she's cute and I love her. Unfortunately she doesn't see much use these days. I've wanted to revive her for awhile, but I lack the motivation. CIRCLEEYE gets on the server around 1/2 as much as Dave, but it used to be much less than that, which is why they don't have that many hours. I've only recently become interested in them. I expect the hourcount to rise over the coming months. I'm a little surprised that Archie, Dave's daughter, has these many hours. She doesn't show up onserver much. She's been in a few long CRPs and onserver events, so I guess that's why. and... drumroll please... LOL two fucking months of dave. two. MONTHS you people have NOTHING on me BOW.
Kianla doesn't have a character file, and Shinju doesn't matter. Here we go. I'm new, which is why everyone's got relatively few hours on them. Spoiler: Dox Rhueberint Dox is my main. She's got the most hours by far - and for good reason. She's a lot of fun - and if this counted Discord-based RP in some way, she'd have a lot more still. Spoiler: Ry Fael Ry's a lot of fun too. She just wants to make guns - but nobody's let her yet. Oh - also. Her player file's waiting on some color changes, since some things have happened that caused her to take on a new skin tone and a second new eye color. Spoiler: CRIMSONDIAMOND-170675-BETA CRIMSONDIAMOND-170675-BETA, or Crimson, is my Visi. They're relatively new, and have had a lot of Discord RP to them, but they're a lot of fun to play just because they want to know everything. Plus - weird race. I'm excited for more to happen with Crimson just because they're as fun as they are. Spoiler: Aria Aria's a legacy character. She's something I've brought forward into GC, with a bit of backstory baggage. This Aria player file, however, is brand-new and unique to GC, hence the low hours. Spoiler: Akra How Akra has more hours than Crimson, I don't understand. She's newer, she's less important to me and she's had no meaningful interactions, but she's got more time on her. That said - she's a lot of fun regardless. She plays like a Floran, but is a Novakid. This is a novel concept to me, and it's a lot of fun to play out.
