Some 3 AM thoughts for you... I know that you decided to go for VR in Discord but this still applies. The main issue I can see is that, especially if it's VR; if there ends up being a large amount of people interested in the event it's going to be a lot to handle. I know from personal experience and watching other people GM that having a lot of people, particularly a lot of people off doing their own thing, makes it very difficult to GM well for all of them. That aside it's something that should be planned out well in advance of the actual event. Tested, too. No one wants to wait while the GM has to fix technical issues or other gameplay/rp issues that could've been fixed with prior playtesting. Overall I suggest getting multiple GMs for this event, at least one, and I recommend playtesting this event well in advance to make sure it all runs smoothly if/when the real event comes around.
