What kind of pet do you want the most? I really wanna get an Argentine Tegu. They're a lot of responsibility and one of the largest reptiles on the market so a bit costly to take care of too but there is something so mystifying about an intelligent reptile that has the capacity to interact sociably and affectionately with you in ways like your more mammalian pets, granted you raise it properly. These 'Puppies' of the reptile worlds however can still get pretty mean especially when they're hungry or if you don't interact with them enough or in the right environments (They gotta recognize you in UV light too or they might go hogwild on walks). Lizard brain, no matter how advanced, is still lizard brain sometimes.
i want many, many different animals but above all else i want a pet raccoon. i just love them so much they’re little gremlin trash pandas!! they are so adorable and also just seem like they’d be a really fun pet!
In terms of mammals I wouldn't mind a ferret, or a rodent of some kind. Dogs are pretty cool, but we already have one. Reptiles? I'd really love to own a blue-tongued skink, they're a really common lizard to be found around the area of where I live in Australia, both friendly and relatively harmless, they're a common reptilian pet here. Fish? As common as they are, I'd be lying if I said I didn't adore them, I really would like to have another shot at owning goldfish for another chunk of my life. I adore their various breeds and varieties, especially the big-eyed black moor. In terms of other species, I wouldn't mind a betta or some tetras.
