    Planet Name: Mu

Environment: The only habitable world in the system, about a quarter of the size of earth. There is a singular major continent on Mu (Also called Mu), split into two subcontinents by a large, unnatural looking mountain chain. The Eastern half of Mu is almost made up entirely of huge, incredibly invasive fungal growths- Nothing seems to live her besides these growths, all other life choked by the clouds of spores constantly drifting about the East. The Western half is her cousin's exact opposite, bountiful alien life blooming wherever one may find it. The extreme amounts of Oxygen in the air has caused the life here to flourish and grow exponentially, huge forests surrounded by even larger fields of gold visible from the upper atmosphere. Around the supercontinent is the occasional archipelago or chain of islands.

Resources: Mu does not offer much of value outside scientific pursuits- In fact, the planet seems sparse of most resources despite it's meager population. Metal is rare here outside it's few implements in buildings and the railway system. There are rumors of bizarre items and people here, some referring to it as a sort of starting place for Spacers to drop off and get used to the oddities of the greater Fringe.

    Population Size: ~2 Million

Settlements: None of the buildings on Mu were truly built by their residents, the colonizers from years pasts acting as vermin for the abandoned buildings that can be found here. The vast majority of inhabitants are human, with pockets of Hylotls and Froggs and Offworlders making up the rest of the population. The concept of 'towns' is not really represented on Mu, buildings built with no rhyme or reason often able to be found in the middle of nowhere in the woods. Mu's population is incredibly isolated and pocketed.

Backstory Permissions: Semi-Closed, just come and talk to me if you'd like to play a character from Mu! Most of it's lore isn't public, so I'd like to be able to discuss it with you before you start conceptualizing someone.

Notes: Some attempts at colonization were made on Mu many years ago from both the Hylotl Empire and the USCM, but both efforts failed and were eventually abandoned. Since then, it's been regarded as a bizarre, backwater location for fledgling anthropologists and otherwise to get their start when studying cultural isolation.
